Quick Start
To see Infrahub in action, you have several options. Depending on your available time and preferred learning style, you can choose from the following — ranging from the quickest to the most in-depth experience:
- Videos - A series of short videos that provide an overview of Infrahub and its capabilities.
- Infrahub sandbox - A public instance of Infrahub that you can use to explore the platform.
- Getting started lab - Interactive lab that explores the basic concepts of Infrahub.
- Infrahub demos - Full-blown demo of Infrahub that showcases its capabilities in specific business scenarios.
- Meeting OpsMill - Book a session with OpsMill to discuss your use case and how Infrahub can help you.
If you are looking to build your own Infrahub instance to evaluate it in your environment, please refer to the Next steps section!
Videos
Find below a selection of videos that provide an overview of Infrahub and its capabilities. More videos are available on the OpsMill YouTube channel.
Infrahub sandbox
The Infrahub Sandbox is a publicly hosted version of Infrahub, pre-loaded with sample data and examples. It's a great way to explore and get a first look at the Infrahub UI!

Below is the current list of available demos developed and maintained by OpsMill and the community:
- Bundle DC
A bundle is an end-to-end reference implementation you can actually learn from. This bundle includes:
- Schema-driven modelling — spine-leaf fabrics, VxLAN/EVPN overlays, POPs, security zones, load balancers
- Design-driven automation — create a topology design, watch generators spawn all the devices, interfaces, IPs, BGP peers (the otters do the work)
- Branch-based workflows — proposed changes with diffs, validation checks, artifact regeneration before merge
- Firewall policy abstracted from vendor implementations
- Multi-vendor configuration generation — Arista, Juniper, Cisco, SONiC templates included
- Containerlab integration — deploy to a virtual lab and actually test your configurations
- Service Catalog — simplified provisioning for when clicking buttons is preferable to YAML
- Demo Service Catalog
The Service Catalog demo demonstrates how Infrahub can be used to manage and deploy services within an ISP environment. It walks through the process of creating a service catalog using Infrahub and Streamlit. From modeling services in the schema, codifying them in Generator, to making these capabilities accessible across the organization via a Streamlit app. This demo provides a comprehensive, end-to-end overview of the workflow.
